What is our Group Life Assurance?

GLA provides death in service benefits for employees and is normally taken out by the employer or association on behalf of its employees or members.

The policy pays a benefit to the estate of the deceased in the event of death of an employee which is agreed with the employer at inception of the policy and is normally expressed as a multiple of the employee’s annual salary.

It may be taken with additional benefits or riders such as Funeral, Total Permanent Disability, Critical Illness, Accidental Death, Replacement benefit, Spouse GLA, Commuter benefit, Child Education benefit etc.

GLA is an annually renewable policy.
