Our contributions to the betterment of society
Absa Life Managing Director, Mr Collins Hamusonde facilitated all the financial literacy sessions at the school.
Our Managing Director, Mr. Collins Hamusonde was fully engaged in FLW. He took time to engage the pupils and facilitated all the financial literacy sessions at the school. His messages were centred around Budgeting, Savings, Investments, and Insurance.
- We also visited two orphanages during the previous Insurance week. In supporting the goal of Financial Inclusion, we donated 4 booths worth K8,000 each to two orphanages as a way of empowering them to engage in some business. During the visit MD shared on Insurance Week and the theme “CREATING A CONFIDENT FUTURE WITH INSURANCE”, which encompasses the goal of Financial Inclusion. We handed over the booths and other donations afterwards. The orphanages we visited were as follows:
- 1. WONS Ministries Orphanage in Matero.
- 2. Home of Happiness for Children with disabilities in Foxdale.
