What is our Group Funeral expense?

The GFE policy is similar to GLA except it pays benefits to meet the cost of financing the funeral expenses in the event of death of an employee.

The policy may also cover the employee’s family members at the discretion of the employer or as provided for in respective Collective Agreements between employers and employees.

The benefit payable is a fixed amount which is agreed with the employer at inception of the policy.
